Hundreds of thousands of dollars have been awarded over the history of this program – it’s now your turn to win!
Here’s the breakdown:
Nine (9) finalists, one per region, will be chosen from all original submissions received to win the opportunity to design and paint a life-size cow sculpture. The finalists will be chosen via a special panel of judges as done in previous years. After the judges have selected the finalists, the voting process (for the first time ever) will be turned over to the public where America will vote for the winner via online and mobile voting.
Upon completion of the Art Contest, the schools of the 9 finalists will design and paint their life-size cow sculptures; each finalist’s teacher will receive $275 to buy art supplies to help create the sculpture. Once the sculptures have all been designed, they will be showcased inside of local Safeway grocery stores.
